Acquittal of clients of the Velasco Blaya Lawyers firm in criminal law for a crime of continuous theft

The Criminal Court No. 1 of Girona issued, on November 28, judgment number 407/2019, by which it acquitted Mr. I.M and Mr. M.Y. of the continued offence of burglary with force, -clients of the law firm Velasco Blaya Abogados-.

The defendants were facing a prison sentence of 3 years.

In these proceedings, Mr. David Velasco Blaya, owner of the law firm in Girona, Velasco Blaya Abogados, specialist in criminal law in Girona, Santa Coloma de Farners, Blanes, Sant Feliu de Guíxols, La Bisbal, and Figueres, acted as lawyer.

The aforementioned judgment held that there was not sufficient circumstantial evidence to convict the defendants.
